Finally I can present the painted test of the French Line Lancers FC-003 and FC-004 command and team; they come with interchangeable and spare arms and saddles, here are depicted as 1 regiment. the Officer is the first miniature and horse i ever did, and it shows it, so i'm doubting to substitute the horse....

Horses Horses Horses.....
Just keeping trained in my favorite work:
i'm now doing some horses for a preparation work,
i will cast some copies and transform them in different
units, as artillery, hungarian saddles etc...
I'm doing the different movements, standing, walking,
trotting, cantering, galloping , and falling;
i will produce spare horses sets .
Saxon Officers 1806
I'm working to complete the set of this Saxon officers, there are now three , a general, an infantry officer and the last hussar officer; here the last one . I will add a n other one or two cavalry officers and two foot infantry officers .
Austrian Hussars Masters ready
Finally i'm ready with the masters, 3 mounted command and 4 mounted hussars, 7 pieces in total, 2 with trousers, and the rest with hessian boots. The 7 horses are all different and i will add some spare arms.
More Austrian hussars ready for production
More veliti and horses different poses
Finally after 1 year preparation and concept i have developed a system to produce easily horses masters in different poses, and it works!!!! I'm happy to show you here the first tests. I hope there it will become soon a production of spare horses in the main poses, to add variety and avoid to use some very low quality ones.
The Veliti della Guardia are still on the workbench, making muskets and backpacks.... see the progress
Veliti della Guardia
Here the first shots of the Veliti della Guardia, which can also converted as Granatieri della Guardia; I'm here trying standing figures poses and proportions which i must say i'm still not very good at ; I want to make 8/10 figures "at ease" and may be later trying more action ones.
and a new standing pose Paul Yves Bernard de Lavauguyon ADC of king Murat
Franznap Lancers 2nd serie
Finally ready painted the test shot of the French Lancers; took me several months to finish but I'm glad to show you the possibilities of conversions due to separate arms and spare heads.
the mounting and dismounting lancers are quite useful and with a head change could be used as other units.
One offs from the workbench
Back again on business, i'm still not settled in but i enjoyed on some One Off pieces just for warming up again.....
Here a French Guard Foot Artillery officer , and an Austrian hussar welcomed by his dog.
The advantage of making unique pieces is that i have not to think about mold undercut and i can detail everything as i want.
It is almost 1 year since I started sculpting, and I learned a lot, may be i will post some of my experiences in this technique if somebody is interested on.
New mounted Neapolitan officers
Here some new masters for the Neapolitan General Staff, with King Murat Himself and a Major of the Guides
see all the picts in the section Sculpting and Casting ; i'm now busy with more horses.
I'm also ready with the french lancers masrers second group .
New sculpted ...
Added a new mounting lancer, busy with the officer headgear, working at horses (see Horses in Casting page)
An austrian Hussar colonel with horse.
Two mounted neapolitan ADC
Here 2 almost finished first mounted officers, a general staff ADC 1813 , and an ADC of the King Murat.
My first resin casts
After years of thoughts, finally i made my first molds and casts of toy soldiers, the technique works very fine and the detail is excellent, i first casted an French officer horse , after i started the first Austrian Jagers conversions which went quite fine although while making i could think of small adjustments to improve the work.
I'm now busy with a conversion of Austrian Hussars which i found a big missing item in the production,
This is my first own casted piece painted.... good result i think... isn't it?
